Adult Learn to Play

The four-week Adult Learn to Play program will introduce adults (18+) with little to no hockey experience to the basic skills needed for ice hockey. Experienced coaches will lead on-ice drills focused around skating, stickhandling, positional play, and more fundamental building blocks of the sport.

Cost: $175 per player, includes jersey
Next session start: November 16, 2024 *subject to change
Times: Saturday AM *subject to change
Equipment Needed: players must come with full hockey equipment (helmets w/ cage required), rental skates available if needed

Adult Learn to Play FAQs

Should I know how to ice skate?

Yes, participants should be able to skate the length of the rink unassisted. While it is not required, it is strongly recommended that those wishing to enroll in Adult Learn to Play complete an Adult Learn to Skate program first.

What equipment is required?

Full equipment is required to paricipate. This includes helmet with cage, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, jock/jill, hockey pants, hockey stick, and hockey skates. 

*Rental skates are available if needed

What ages can participate?

Players must be at least 18 years or older.

Do I have to pre-register?

Yes, all participants must pre-register to participate in Adult Learn to Play.

Is there a waiver?

Yes, all participants must sign a waiver prior to stepping on the ice.
